Chameleon- Art of My Soul: How to decorate a frame using a newspaper/ Jak udekorowac ramke uzywajac gazet

First of all I have to say it is not my idea, I saw that kind of frame at my friend's house. She got it for her birthday. I tought it is really great idea to make something similar as a gift too. If anyone know whose that idea was let me know please...I will add this information on my blog.

It is pretty easy once you know how to make it. Takes some time but the result is stunning

This quick tutorial is made by me ;)

Lets start:

You need frame (I got mine from B&M and it was really cheap, around £3)

Really thin pipes made from newspaper (Don't ask me how to make them as my dad did it for me, you have to practise a little bit to make them perfect)

PVA glue

Hot gun with glue sticks

Scissors

Na samym poczatku powiem ze nie jest to moj pomysl. Podpatrzylam taka ramke u mojej przyjaciolki w domu i bardzo mi sie ten pomysl spodobal. Postanowilam stworzyc taka ramke jako prezent urodzinowy. Niestety nie mam pojecia czyj to pomysl, ale jesli ktokolwiek wiec cos na ten temat podeslijcie mi linka zebym mogla dodac na blogu.

Wykonanie jest bardzo proste ale troszke pracochlonne...natomiast rezultat mowi sam za siebie. Ramka wyglada wspaniale po takiej przerobce

Ten szybki tutorial jest mojego autorstwa ;)

Zaczynajmy:

Potrzebujemy ramke (Ja swoja kupilam w tutejszym sklepie B&M za okolo 3 funty, calkiem tanio )

Cieniutkie rurki z papieru z gazet (nie pytajcie jak je zwinac, bo nie ja je robilam. Moj tato je zawijal, nie jest to moze najlatwiejsze do nauczenia ale przy odrobinie cierpliwosci zawiniecie je perfekcyjnie)

Lets start

Make your newspaper flat and using PVA glue roll the pipe (you can make it flat at the same time as you roll it). At first it starts have oval shape, so use your fingers to make more squarish shape. It is quite easy to do.

Once your square is in the right size to match your frame cut the rest of the pipe with the sccisors (look at the second photo) and glue the end to finish the square (you can do it at the end once all squares are made)

What to do if the pipe is finished before the right size of your square? Just glue the other pipe to the first by putting one pipe into the other. Don't forget to use a little of PVA glue

Rurke z papieru zwijaj uzywajac kleju PVA splaszczajac rurke w czasie zwijania. Na poczatku bedzie to mialo ksztalt bardziej kola, ale po chwili za pomoca zwinnych dloni przybierze to ksztalt kwadratu, przy zwijaniu zaginaj w ksztalt kwadratu. Kiedy kwadrat jest odpowiedniej wielkosci nalezy odciac reszte rurki (zobacz drugie zdjecie) Kiedy klej dobrze zlapie nalezy odciac resztke rurki aby uzyskac piekny kwadrat

Co zrobic jesli kwadrat nie ma jeszcze odpowiedniej wielkosci a rurka sie nam konczy? Trzeba polaczyc ja z nastepna rurka poprzez wsuniecie jednej w druga ii uzywajac kleju PVA

Remember to check how many squares you need by putting them on the frame (do not glue them yet)

Pamietaj aby sprawdzic ile kwadratow bedziesz potrzebowac i jak beda rozmieszczone na ramce. Proponuje poukladac je na ramce w celu sprawdzenia ( jeszcze ich nie przyklejaj)

To make my frame even better I made smaller squares to put them on the top of the bigger once

Zeby ramka wygladala jeszcze lepiej, nadalam jej glebi poprzez zrobienie dodatkowo nieco mniejszych kwadratow

Check again how your squares look like on the farme

Sprawdz ponownie jak bedzie prezentowac sie twoja ramka

Now it is time to glue them together. First using hot gun glue the small squares to the big once, and then carefully glue them to the frame making sure you glue them in the right places

Teraz jest czas na klejenie. Najpierw przyklej mniejsze kwadraty na wieksze uzywajac kleju na graco a nastepnie uzywajac tego samego kleju przyklej kwadraty na ramke. Ostroznie z keljeniem, sprawdz dokladnie w ktorym miejscu chcesz je umiejscowic.
