Painted stones / Malowane kamienie

I'm always looking for something new, something different to make. I don't like to stay in one place for longer....love changes and thats why I do so many different things in my art journey.
Maybe I'm still looking for myself in art but ohhh well it is such a great journey. I enjoy every single step :)
This time I wanted to show you some of my painted stones... Ohhhh Goshh there is so many amazing techniques around us.... not a chance to choose only one ;)
So here it is my next passion 'Painting on stones'... The problem is I would need really good stones with great oval shape and smooth enough to make painting on them easier... Quite difficult job to do...
I was looking for stones on the streams and sea but they aren' t exactly As I wanted them to be.
So shame I don't live near the Ocean... In that place you can find perfect, smooth rounded stones.... But ohh well I live in Scotland and have to say I'm lucky enough to have sea near by and opportunity to find some nice stones as well.

The once I used for my first time are quite rough but I tried to work with that surface and I think not a bad results I had for that first time.

I made them for my friend who is a zumba instructor and she is always happy and always with the big smile on her face...so I thought I will paint some butterflies for her... Then I put them to the glass bowl and a candle in between the stones to make it a nice gift.

Ciaglle robie cos nowego, chyba nadal poszukuje siebie w moim artystycznym swiecie, i uwielbiam to, ciesze sie kazdym malutkim kroczkiem .
Najwiekszym problemem jest znalezienie odpowiednich kamieni, o odpowiednim okraglym, owalnym ksztalcie i wystarczajaco gladkim aby malowanie bylo latwiejsze...Nielatwe zadanie nawet jesli mieszkasz nad morzem...

Hope you like my stone post, I would be really happy if you could leave your thoughts in the comment below :)
